DAVENPORT-The Gorillas' varsity girls team has mostly seen success this year on the defensive side of the floor, but Davenport has struggled to turn its stops into points. That reared its head Friday, Dec. 17 as Davenport fell to the visiting Northwest Christian Crusaders 39-32 in another low scoring, sloppy affair.
The loss dropped Davenport to 2-5 this season.
The first quarter was particularly sloppy, as both teams struggled with turnovers. NWC led just 6-4 after the period.
