FAIRCHILD AFB–The 92nd Air Refueling Wing was selected as one of two Air Force finalists for the 2022 Commander-in-Chief's Installation Excellence Award (CINC IEA). This is only the second time the installation has ever been nominated for the award, and the airmen on base are hard at work in preparation for next week's inspection.

Each year, the CINC IEA is awarded to the best installation in every department under the Department of Defense, including the Air Force. This award, created by President Ronald Reagan in 1985, was established to recognize the outstanding efforts of the people w...
