ODESSA – At its meeting Jan. 24, the Odessa Town Council had very little business to transact but did make plans for 2022. The town council reorganizes its representatives annually. The mayor presents committee appointment recommendations for ratification by the council. According to Town Clerk Meri Jane Bohn, the purpose of committees is to enhance communication and coordination of issues before they are presented to the council as a whole. Each committee meets and reports on an as-needed basis. Many committees will require staff involvement.
