Eleanor Walter, 90, passed away peacefully on Dec. 17, 2021 in Odessa, Wash. Eleanor was born on Jan. 24, 1931 on the family farm in Odessa, Wash. to Henry and Lottie Braun. She grew up in Odessa and attended school, graduating from Odessa High School in 1949.

Eleanor married Ivan Walter on Feb. 4, 1950 in Odessa and this is where they made their home and raised their daughter, Marilyn. Eleanor was a member of Heritage Church who served on the funeral bereavement committee and taught Sunday school for many years.
