Four coaches resign from Davenport School District

The school district will be looking for several new spring sports coaches after four coaches announced their resignations, all of which were approved at the school board’s Jan. 31 meeting.

Head track and field coach Brian Telford won’t be returning to his position as he prepares to run a campaign for Lincoln County Sheriff this election cycle. Additionally, head tennis coach Eric Timm submitted his resignation.

Two assistant coaches have also resigned, with Sarah Raugust resigning as junior high girls basketball assistant and Sydney Abbott resigning as junior high softball assistant....
