Davenport elementary students earned red pride cards throughout the school's "Kindness Week." The winners are pictured.
Davenport Elementary held a Kindness Week during Feb. 14-18. Each day of the week there was a kindness theme: You Matter Mondaym Thankful Tuesday, There for you Wednesday, Thoughtful Thursday and Gorillas are Crazy for Kindness Friday.
Friday included a red & white/gorilla gear dress up day.
Throughout the week students had the opportunity to participate in their own version of "The Great Kindness Challenge" where students tracked completing kindness actions on a task card that tied to each day's kindness theme.
