OMHC board plans for facility expansion

The monthly board meeting of Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center was called to order Feb. 24 in the hospital Guild Room by board chair Brian Schorzman.

Clinic Manager Jace Angelly reported on the increase of Covid cases in January due to the highly contagious Omicron variant. Many cases, he said, were young people aged 11 to 19, who handled the illness very well for the most part. By the latter part of February the Omicron surge had begun to fade rapidly. In the most recent week, he added, there were only two new cases. He announced that the clinic would hold only two more days specifically...
