Patricia L. Casper

Patricia L. Casper passed away on March 15, 2022 at Brookdale Nine Mile, a memory care facility, in Spokane, Wash. at the age of 84. She had lived with dementia for at least the past 4 years and resided at Brookdale for 10 months.

Pat was born on June 12, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to Frederick and Cecilia Guerin.

She grew up in Denver. In 1941, her father passed away and then in 1953, her mother passed away. She went to New Orleans to finish high school and graduated from Holy Names in 1955. She then attended Mercy Nursing School in Durango, Colo. and the day after graduation, Sept. 20, 1958, she married David F. Casper. Pat became a registered nurse and worked at Lincoln Hospital in various nursing jobs for over 20 years.

Pat was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Altar Society, The Town and Country Study Club and was a former City of Davenport

Library Board Member.

Pat is survived by her four children David F. Casper Jr., Andrew Casper, Edward Casper (Ray Brosinska) and Theresa (Brian) Telford along with seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She is survived by her twin sisters, Judy Kleinschnitz and Jeanne Nearing, both of Denver, along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband David Casper in 2002, and daughter Karen Casper in 1980, along with two brothers Tom and Gerry Guerin, sister JoAnne Dwyer and brothers-in-law Dave Nearing, Harold Casper, Donald Casper, Bernard Casper, and JD Dwyer, as well as her sister-in-law, Christine Bennett.

A Rosary service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 7:00 PM at the

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Davenport, Wash. followed by a Funeral Mass on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11:00 A.M with Father Sean Thomson, officiating.

Interment will be held at Mt. View Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to the Lincoln Hospital Foundation.
