The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

March 14

Traffic stops: 18

A Sprague man reported a black car with two people inside parked on the side of a road. The caller said when he stopped to ask the people if they were okay, they said they were just resting.

A man came into the Sheriff’s Office to say his 21-year-old son, who has mental health issues, was missing.

A Davenport woman said she was frauded out of $7,000 when she applied for a job and they sent her a check that bounced after she sent the employer money back.

A Sprague woman said a man and a woman drove by her house and stopped in her driveway on the 46100 block of Doerschlag Road East to say they wanted a puppy.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to prison in Spokane County.

A third grader reportedly ran away from school in Wilbur.

Assault was reported in Odessa.

A caller reported a disabled blue passenger van blocking a roadway.

A Reardan man said he’d been seeing a lot of homeless people on Tramm Road and noted that someone had cut open an Amazon package he received in the mail.

March 15

Traffic stops: 10

A Creston woman said she saw a female try break into her house on the 400 block of Southwest C Street via her Ring doorbell.

A woman said $300 was missing from her purse after she gave two youths a ride into Grand Coulee from Highway 174 and Spring Canyon.

A minor car crash was reported near the Reardan Post Office.

A burglary suspect was located near Swanson Lake.

A commercial alarm was reported going off at the clinic in Reardan.

A suspicious vehicle with expired tabs was reported at the intersection of Columbia and Aspen Streets in Reardan.

March 16

Traffic stops: 14

A Sprague man said no one seemed to care that his neighbor’s pigs got into his flower beds.

A two-car crash was reported on Main and Division Streets in Wilbur.

A Davenport woman said she saw a few people run around with flashlights by the storage units near Safeway.

A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 174 at milepost 25.

An Almira man said he heard a car smoking its tires and recklessly driving up and down alleyways in town.

A Davenport woman reported suspicious activity on the 300 block of Marshall Street.

March 17

Traffic stops: 21

A caller reported a car partially blocking Sinclair Street at the corner of 13th Street in Davenport.

A Davenport woman said a loose dog ate her son’s food out of his hand while he waited for a school bus, then wouldn’t let him on the bus.

A caller from Washington Virtual Academy requested a welfare check on a student living outside Reardan on the 51800 block of Highway 2 East that hadn’t been heard from in a couple weeks.

A Reardan woman requested hulk slips for 13 junk cars that had been on her property on the 35200 block of Highway 231 North for several years.

A Davenport man said there were old cars on his dad’s property on the 38500 block of Highway 25 North that needed to be removed.

A Creston woman said she locked her keys in her car on the 200 block of Northwest Anderson Street.

A Davenport man said someone smashed the door into his property on the end of Halme Drive and stole tools and filing cabinets.

A static 911 call came to the Reardan Police Department from the same phone number multiple times.

A caller reported a woman trying to sleep alone in her car at Davenport City Park.

March 18

Traffic stops: 34

Multiple callers reported a white BMW speeding down Interstate 90 near Sprague speeding and dangerously passing cars before stopping in traffic and driving backwards in the eastbound side of the freeway.

A Reardan man reported a garage door that he found open on the 46600 block of Highway 2 East, but the property owner said the door on the garage sometimes pops open on its own.

Staff from the hospital in Grand Coulee said they had a patient that was a victim of assault.

March 19

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at Stow-Away Storage in Davenport.

A Harrington man said he could see his neighbor’s chimney on fire on West Adams Street.

A caller reported a disabled vehicle that blew a turbo hose on Highway 2 at milepost 244.

A Wilbur woman said she saw a small dog walking on the side of Highway 2 near Telford Rest Area.

A Davenport woman said she accidentally locked her dogs in her truck on the 800 block of Ross Street.

A caller reported a green pickup truck parked on the side of Highway 2 at milepost 266.

An alarm was reported going off at a residence on the 39400 block of Orchard Road East near Porcupine Bay.

March 20

Traffic stops: 18

A Spokane Police Department officer requested a case number while interviewing a robbery suspect on the 300 block of East Marjorie Avenue in Odessa.

A Davenport man flagged down a deputy on Morgan and Second Streets and said a young woman took his car.

A caller said he saw his motorcycle that had been stolen from his Spokane residence three months ago parked at Telford Rest Area next to a car with two people sleeping in it.

Trespassing was reported at Sandy’s in Wilbur.

A caller reported four youths drinking alcohol and having a fire at Keller Ferry on the shores of Lake Roosevelt.

A Spokane woman reported an expected death on the 34000 block of Bobwhite Lane near Hawk Creek.

An Odessa woman reported a suspicious man in a store.

Washington State Patrol said they received a report of a car crashing into a guardrail on Highway 174 near Eden Harbor.

A Wilbur woman said she saw a man lying on the floor of the post office with his shoes off.

A Wilbur man said his truck ran out of gas on Highway 174 at Menke Road.

March 15

Damon Joseph Ashe, 39, Spokane. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of second-degree identity theft.

March 18

Deena Lynn Bailey, 58, Spokane. Arrested by the Reardan Police Department on charges of third-degree driving with a license suspended or revoked and failure to appear for third-degree driving with a license suspended or revoked.

Steven A. Samuelson, 45, Mercer Island. Arrested by Washington State Patrol on a charge of driving under the influence.

New criminal rulings

Deena Lynn Bailey, Spokane, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served and 12 months supervised probation.

Jack Cooper Purdy Jr, Moses Lake, second-degree attempting to take a motor vehicle. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation.

Ryeley Rena Nast legally changed their name to Jayden Nathaniel Keith King.

Criminal docket-March 15

Timothy Lee Morton, who is charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree theft, waived his right to a speedy trial. A readiness hearing was set for May 10 and a jury trial was set for June 1.

Larry Quincy Bronson Jr., who is charged with first-degree theft and first-degree stolen property trafficking, has accepted a plea deal and will plea May 10.

Loren Randall Bolsoy, who is charged with second-degree rape and harassment with the threat to kill or cause bodily injury, heard the court say a ruling couldn’t be made on the respective counsel regarding the victim’s alleged cocaine use and prior infidelities. The judge said he would reserve his ruling for how the alleged victim testifies.

Ryan Jeffrey Marley of Spokane, who is charged with first-degree animal cruelty for allegedly having sex with a dog in Wilbur, failed to appear for an arraignment. A bench warrant was issued with bail set at $2,500.

Charlene Alberta Patenaude, who was charged with second-degree assault, displaying weapons capable of producing harm and third-degree malicious mischief, was found mentally incapable of understanding the nature of the proceedings against her or assisting in her own defense and was ordered to undergo a civil commitment evaluation at Eastern State Hospital.

Henry A. Barrios Guzman, who is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, entered a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for April 19 and a jury trial was set for May 11.

Sarah Laraine Redstar waived her extradition to the State of Idaho, where she was convicted of possession of a controlled substance.

Damon Joseph Ashe, who is charged with second-degree identity theft, entered a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for May 10 and a jury trial was set for June 8.
