DAVENPORT-The Gorillas' home doubleheader on Senior Night against the Kettle Falls Bulldogs turned in an unusual win and a lopsided loss Saturday, April 23.
In the first game, Davenport senior ace Denton Deal had the pitching juice, allowing just one run through six innings. The offense managed three runs to hold a 3-1 lead into the last frame.
The Bulldogs then scored twice on a pair of unearned runs, forcing a bottom half of the inning with the game now tied 3-3.
