July 25

Traffic stops: 8

Lincoln County Public Works said a speeding semitruck crashed into a county grader on Olson Road just south of Denny Station Road.

A caller reported a transient person walking into the AgLink shop in Reardan.

HighLine Grain Growers said an employee was on the side of the road somewhere on Highway 2 suffering from a possible heat stroke.

A caller requested a tow on a vehicle in the Fort Spokane campground.

A Reardan man said his neighbor was parked in the roadway on the 51700 block of Whispering Pines Drive East having an argument with his wife.

A caller said their car overheated.

A caller reported two motorcycles driving recklessly on Highway 2 at milepost 263.

A Leavenworth woman said two people were driving Jet skis recklessly on Lake Roosevelt in front of her cabin, pulling innertubes and wakeboards without a spotter.

A Sprague man said the old tavern in the city across from the closed U.S. Bank had been blasting music throughout town after quiet time.

July 26

Traffic stops: 15

A Sprague woman said a man that was staying in her garage stole some wenches and a shovel.

A vehicle parked in the town right-of-way was reported in Reardan.

A black car in a ditch was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 230.

A caller reported a possibly abandoned horse at a local residence.

A disabled vehicle blocking the road was reported on Highway 231 at milepost 36.

A caller said two girls went missing that morning.

A caller said her 15-year-old daughter walked away from her residence 15 minutes prior.

A Davenport man said he found a man in his barnyard and chased him south of the barn on Gravelle Road before pursuing further on Denny Station Road.

Three burglary alarms were reported going off at Harrington School.

July 27

Traffic stops: 8

A caller said strange sounds were occurring in his neighborhood on the 200 block of West Willis Street in Harrington.

A Spokane man said a man loaded a gun and threatened him when he picked his girlfriend up from a residence on the 55000 block of Williams Lake Road in Sprague.

A Davenport woman reported a car/deer crash on Highway 2 on the west end of Reardan.

A caller reported a black car swerving on I-90 eastbound from the rest stop in Sprague.

July 28

Traffic stops: 16

An Odessa woman someone in her neighborhood was coming into her yard at night and destroying her garden.

A man said someone fired a gun through the window of his shop.

A Spokane woman requested a welfare check on her friend.

A caller said an excavating company was using his Class A water system to fill their water truck and he believed they shouldn’t be using it.

A Davenport man said a woman was driving her Nissan past her house at 70 mph.

A caller said a gold tractor was tailgating, making poor passes, honking his horn and driving erraticially westbound on Highway 2 from Davenport.

An Odessa woman reported a suspicious vehicle on the 500 block of South Alder Street.

A man said an employee at Hardy Hardware threatened to hit three children in the store.

A caller reported a vehicle blocking Hume Road near Fort Spokane that was registered to a man that had been charged in a federal fraud case.

A Davenport man said he stopped a 12-year-old boy riding a dirt bike on the 300 block of Maxwell Street because he didn’t have a license.

A caller said an unoccupied vehicle hit a house.

A person required assistance changing a flat tire.

A Wilbur man said someone was knocking on his door on the 400 block of Southeast Trinity Avenue and leaving empty Dr. Pepper bottles behind.

A bag was dropped off at the Sheriff’s Office containing a Canadian passport and two credit cards.

July 29

Traffic stops: 34

A Mount Vernon man said he befriended a woman while staying in a cabin on Lake Roosevelt and sent her nude pictures of himself and she forwarded them to people in his contacts.

A caller reported a man in a cape.

A caller said a white state truck spraying on the side of a road caused her to slam on her brakes and her son who was driving behind her rear-ended her.

A Creston woman said her husband has been having an affair and accused him of stealing her photos off iCloud.

A houseboat fell off a trailer and blocked a roadway near Lake Roosevelt.

A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 2, but the situation was just a woman checking on her children.

A disabled vehicle with a boat and trailer was reported near Lake Roosevelt.

A suspicious man was reported at the soda machines in front of Harrington Food Mart.

A Seven Bays man reported fireworks near his house on the 2100 block of North Point Court.

A man said someone cut the electric start and throttle control, disconnecting and stealing the fuel line off his boat when he tried to go to Reardan to get his tire fixed.

A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office sergeant hit a deer at Highway 2 and Bennett Road while en route to a burglary call.

A fire was reported in Odessa.

July 30

Traffic stops: 13

A caller said the owner of the Sprague Motel and RV Park turned off the power to his RV and locked him out of the power box to keep him from turning the power back on.

A car crash at Second and Morgan Streets in Davenport was reported.

Okanogan County received a call regarding a motion alarm going off at the National Park Service headquarters in Grand Coulee.

A caller said a woman driving a green pickup truck was hauling a couch that hit another car.

A vehicle lockout was reported at the Chevron in Sprague.

A caller reported a dog barking on the 200 block of Northwest Main Street in Wilbur.

A residential burglary was reported in Davenport.

A caller said it looked like their neighbor’s house had smoke coming out of it on the 600 block of Eighth Street in Davenport.

A caller said someone broke into her house sometime in the last four days.

July 31

Traffic stops: 15

A Sprague woman said she was being harassed by a man in an RV space at Sprague Motel.

A suspicious man was reported at Trader’s in Davenport.

A caller said a horse wearing a blanket was tied to a barn.

A disabled vehicle without power was reported on Highway 2 at Bennett Road.

A caller said their camper was overheating.

A caller reported a dog in a pickup truck outside of Dean’s Drive-In in Reardan.

Spokane Tribal Police said they were in pursuit of a vehicle failing to yield on Little Falls Road north of Reardan.

A man said his daughter hadn’t returned home and possibly ran away from home.

Odessa – The latest cash grain market in Odessa shows Soft White Wheat, bushel is at 8.01. White Club, bushel at $8.01. Hard Red Winter, bushel at $8.48. Dark Northern Spring, bushel is at $8.60.
