Reardan boy arrested after alleged threats

Calls made to Oklahoma traced locally

REARDAN—A 14-year-old high school student here was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 6 for allegedly making threats to a school in Edmond, Oklahoma. The unnamed boy is facing felony and gross misdemeanor charges after cyber crime detectives in Edmond traced the threats to a local IP address, according to records.

Sergeant Tom Williams of the Edmond Police Department told detectives a boy called Edmond North High School saying a girl there had a gun in her backpack, which forced the school into lockdown. The boy called later and sexually harassed the school secretary, according to police records.
