Pete was born in Soap Lake, Wash., on Aug. 11, 1955, to Peter and Dorothy (Payne) Anderson. He was raised in Wilson Creek, Wash., where he graduated with the Class of 1973. After high school, Pete began his career as a custodian working at the Wilson Creek School District for a year. He then moved to Odessa, Wash., where he dedicated 34 years to the Odessa School District. In that time, Pete and his wife Lorry raised four children.
