Commissioners begin work on 2023 budget

DAVENPORT—The Lincoln County Commissioners make their money off deciding where the county’s money should be allotted. That process was kicked into high gear Monday, as the commissioners met with various department heads to discuss the 2023 preliminary budget in a Nov. 7 meeting that carried into insurance negotiations Tuesday and further discussions Wednesday.
