Reardan girls fall to Saint George's

REARDAN – Saint George's maintained its hold on second place in the NE2B league with a 38-23 win over the Screaming Eagles Saturday, Jan. 28.

The Dragons showed their shooting prowess early in the game with a pair of 3-point baskets by Kalea Schlenker and Margreit Galow and five points from Annika Bergquist. At the end of the first quarter, Saint George's led the Screaming Eagles 13-4.

In the second quarter Bergquist and Galow each scored four points as the Dragons extended their halftime lead to 23-9. Eighth grader Tenice Waters tried to keep Reardan in the game with her frenetic play,...
