Junior high baseball canceled

ODESSA—Athletic Director Larry Weber reported that there would be no junior high baseball due to a lack of players this season at a school board meeting Wednesday, Feb.22.
Spring sports are now underway, with 20 track participants, 14 baseball participants and 14 golf participants.
The board approved Joe Schlomer as the head baseball coach of the high school team. Weber said they are still in need of an assistant coach.
He also discussed hiring an assistant coach for the golf team and possibly using Final Forms next year.
