John H Grosshans passed away in Tacoma, Wash. on Aug. 8, 2024.

He was born in Romania on July 2, 1938 and moved from Germany to Odessa, Wash. in 1950. John attended Odessa High School, excelling and loving basketball, football, and track. John entered ROTC at Eastern State College where he met and married the love of his life, Vonda.

Together they welcomed two sons, John Alan Grosshans (Johanna) and Jeffrey Scott Grosshans (Deborah). Later they had four grandchildren, JR Grosshans, Heidi Lane (Connor), Justin Grosshans, and Hudson Grosshans.
