Davenport High School senior Lexi Cormier was surprised by three representatives from the University of Washington with a personally signed letter from university president Ana Mari Cauce describing Cormier's admission into UW's Engineering program. Cormier was one of 14 students statewide and three in Eastern Washington to receive the award from the Seattle-based university.
