DAVENPORT — Easter weekend is fast approaching. Easter Sunday is April 9, while Good Friday is April 7.

Churches and organizations around Lincoln County are holding services and Easter Egg hunts to celebrate the holiday.

Women in Action will sponsor an Easter egg hunt for ages 10 and under on the Christian Heritage playground at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1 in Edwall.

“At 10:00 we will be serving homemade cinnamon rolls, coffee, apple juice and bananas in the school and then head outside for the Easter egg hunt at 11:00,” organizer Patti Bishop said.
