Three-day filing period set for July 18-20

DAVENPORT – A special three-day filing period will open Tuesday-Thursday, July 18-20, for candidates to file for vacant elected positions.

Multiple positions remain open, including Davenport and Reardan council seats and more.

Anyone wishing to file may do so at the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. during the filing period.

Declarations by mail must be received no later than 3 p.m. the last day of the filing period, July 20, and must include the correct filing fee, if required.

Seats open for the special filing period include:

Davenport

City Council position No. 2, presently held by Chris Ruiz.

City Council at-large position, presently held by Patrick Katz.

Reardan

Town council position No. 2, presently held by Clay Soliday.

Town council position No. 4, presently held by Shad Vincent.

Reardan-Edwall school board position No. 4, presently held by Jeff Anderson.

Lincoln County

Cemetery District No. 1 (Reardan), presently held by Jim Baye.

Cemetery District No. 2 (Long Lake), presently vacant.

Parks and Recreation District-Davenport, presently held by Andrew Schreck, Ericka Johnson, Lindsey McCluskey and Alton Leisle.
