Project expected to last through fall

Work is done to install a new roof on Old Town Hall's porch.
ODESSA - Old Town Hall is currently undergoing "much needed" renovations in its bathrooms and entry hallway, local Terri King shared this week.
"The Old Town Hall Rejuvenation Society has received several grants and funds from Lincoln County Health Department for the Odessa Senior Center are helping to fund this project," King said. "The Innovia Foundation, affiliated with the George and Dorothy Gies Family Foundation, provided the funds to replace the funders to replace the old torn vinyl and broken tile floors in this part of the building."
Additionally, Zion Construction framed the entryway to its original 1920 design, while the Lions Club is doing demolition and high school FBLA and FFA students are removing the debris.
The project is expected to last through the fall, King said.
