Profile questions (please respond in 100 words or less per answer):

Question 1: For the past two years, Harrington has entered a co-op with Lind-Ritzville for athletics. Did the school board make the correct decision when approving that move? Should that co-op be continued in the future?

The Co-op has been great and should be continued. We have kids playing several sports and we are not just playing but we are competing on great teams. We have had teams that have gone to state and teams that are winning big games. We are playing for real coaches who understand the games we are playing. The culture and acceptance by the community is amazing. It doesn't matter what school the kids come from, kids that deserve to play on Varsity, are playing on Varsity. Honestly there is not a better partner to have than what LRSWH has shown to be.

Question 2: The school district saw a sharp decline in enrollment from last year to this year. Is this concerning to you? What would you attribute the decline to, and what measures, if any, could the school board take to address this trend?

I have talked to families that have left. Three common factors come up. Administration, Sports, and Education. We have not had consistency as we are on our 3rd superintendent in 3 years. Parents have stated that our administration does not take parents' concerns seriously. Sports, I think we have corrected this issue the best we can. In the past, the School Board has burnt many bridges when it came to sports Co-ops. LRS agreed to take us on and it has worked. As for education, we have the lowest testing scores in the area and we have to correct this.

Question 3: State-mandated sexual education has been a topic of debate on the Harrington School Board in the past year. Is the current state model of sex ed age-appropriate? Why or why not?

The state model for sexual education is disgusting. It's a disgusting liberal agenda aimed at normalizing the sexual exploitation of children. If you make a list of things 10 year old boys and girls should not be taught, it would probably match the list of what the state wants them taught. The program comes from the Westside and I do not think that we want our children indoctrinated into what they stand for over there. Simply put, it unfortunately is not about education, it's about exploiting children and indoctrinating them into a liberal ideology that is harmful to all.
