Winterfest rivalry to benefit food banks

DAVENPORT-To the victor goes the spoils, or in the case of Winterfest, the "Golden Plunger." This oft maligned plumber's helper is commonly placed discreetly out-of-sight, but not at Reardan High School where it is prominently displayed atop the trophy case as the prize for routing the Gorillas in last year's competition that encourages school spirit and benefits local food banks.
