Caucuses to be held in County

DAVENPORT—The state Republican Party is holding statewide caucuses this weekend, and Lincoln County is no different. The local Republican Central Committee will be holding the county caucuses at three county locations at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13.

The caucuses are held every four years to elect delegates and alternate delegates to attend and vote at the Lincoln County Republican Convention. Up to 94 delegates and 94 alternates divided by precinct could be elected, Central Committee chairwoman Mary Blechschmidt said.
