Biannual event planned for June on base
FAIRCHILD AFB—Team Fairchild is hosting the Skyfest airshow again this year. This year’s show is Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23.
Skyfest will feature the U.S. Air Force A-10 Demonstration Team and other attractions, which can be viewed from on base or much of the surrounding area, including parts of rural Medical Lake, Airway Heights and Deep Creek.
“Members of the public will have a rare opportunity to engage with Fairchild airmen from different career fields and learn about the Department of Defense mission,” the Base said in a news release Thursday, Jan. 4.
Base officials said further details on more military and civilian aviation acts will be released closer to the summertime show.
