Thomas was born on Jan. 1, 1940 in Spokane, Wash. and was the first baby born in the State of Washington in 1940 @ 12:02 AM. Thomas resided in his home in Lamona , Wash. where he lived the entirety of his life. Thomas graduated from Odessa High School and farmed in the Odessa area until his retirement.
