Two wins for Gorilla baseball
Odessa pitcher Holden Iverson handled much of the pitching in Saturday's home opener against ACH.
ODESSA - Baseball and softball teams here and in Davenport got their seasons started last weekend.
The Odessa baseball team hosted a doubleheader with Almira-Coulee-Hartline Saturday, March 16, while Davenport baseball and softball traveled to Lake Roosevelt Friday, March 15.
The Reardan baseball and softball teams open against Liberty this Saturday.
Odessa fell in both games of the doubleheader against the visiting Warriors. ACH beat the Tigers 12-0 in the first game and 18-5 in the second game.
The Tigers will look for better luck in a doubleheader at Cusick Saturday, March 23.
