The South East Marching Band, which includes students from Harrington, Sprague, Washtucna, Garfield-Palouse and Kahlotus, received the Gold Standard at the Torchlight Parade as part of the Spokane Lilac Festival Saturday, May 18. The band was one of 21 marching bands to receive Gold Standard, and the only band featuring Lincoln County students to do so.
