Athletes shine at NE 2B boys meet

COLFAX — Athletes from Reardan and Davenport delivered standout performances Tuesday at the Northeast 2B Boys Team Championships held at Colfax High School, with several competitors earning top-three finishes across a range of track and field events.

Reardan’s Gabe Branstetter, a senior, claimed a dominant victory in the 800 meters, clocking a season-record time of 1:59.55. Branstetter also anchored the winning 4x400-meter relay team, which included Jakari Singleton, Blake Wynecoop, and Evan Krupke. The group crossed the finish line in 3:25.35, the fastest time of the meet.
