Robert Leroy Hemmerling was born on the family farm south of Odessa, Wash. on August 11, 1930. He was the son of Emanuel and Louise (Weishaar) Hemmerling.

Bob grew up on the family farm and graduated from Odessa High School in 1948. He farmed a wheat ranch and managed cattle on his farm north of Odessa.

Bob married the love of his life, Katherine (Casey) McFarland on August 2, 1969. In 1978, the family sold the ranch and moved to Spokane, Wash. Bob was hard working and applied that to his many endeavors. His sales and trading ability led him into the antiq...
