DAVENPORT - Motorists passing workers picking up litter along highways often assume they're serving a punishment. That wasn't the case in Davenport on Saturday, May 31, when the Davenport Lions Club held its biannual volunteer cleanup along Highway 2.
Starting at 8 a.m., 10 club members collected 34 bags of trash in about two hours.
