Marianne Zobrist Iksic, of Irby, Wash, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Spokane, Wash, on Dec. 10, 1956 and graduated from St. George's High School in 1975. Marianne began her collegiate career at Whitman College, then transferred to Whitworth College and graduated with a history degree and K-12 teaching certification in 1978.
