• The annual Lincoln-Adams County Pioneer picnic at Crab Creek is planned for this upcoming week. Many events are planned with the highlight being the 5 horse races daily.

M. F. Van Hook, county game warden has planted 150,000 eastern brook trout fry in streams around the county. The fry were secured from the state hatchery in Spokane.

• A new fire siren was installed at the Odessa community hall. The siren installed was not the one that was ordered by the city but it will be used until the correct siren is received and can be installed.
