DAVENPORT — The Davenport City Council heard public concerns and suggestions about the town’s beautification project during its June 11 meeting, including calls for more parking, road repairs and relocating the public bus stop to address parking issues. Council members noted that parking becomes challenging during events at Memorial Hall or on Thursdays when the Department of Licensing operates its weekly service.
