The erection of a steel bridge across Hawk Creek near its junction with Indian creek has been completed according to J. L. Thayer, county engineer. The old bridge was washed out during high water last spring.
D. C. Humphrey who farms four miles north of Reardan has sold his 160 acres and 40 acres of timber to W. W. Koopman. Mr. Humphrey settled on the land more than 30 years ago.
A little blaze at the Odessa Hardware building sent a call for the fire department. A prompt response was made to the call but the fire was put out with an extinguisher.
