Chamber reviews fair, fall plans

HARRINGTON — With summer events wrapping up and fall activities approaching, the Harrington Chamber of Commerce met Wednesday, Aug. 6, to finalize plans, review finances and begin scheduling for the remainder of the year.

The meeting began with approval of the July 2 minutes. The treasurer’s report showed total income from Jan. 1 to July 31 at $37,162.06, with total expenses of $3,594.60 for the same period.

In July, income totaled $604.13 while expenses came to $395.55, leaving the chamber with a net monthly balance of $208.58.
