Trial pushed to early October
Scott C.J. Skenandore-Kieffer, 38, appeared before Judge Dan B. Johnson on Tuesday, Aug. 12, where his trial date was pushed to early October.
DAVENPORT - A Lincoln County man accused of stealing a car earlier this year will wait until October to face trial after attorneys requested more time to prepare.
Scott C.J. Skenandore-Kieffer, 38, appeared in Superior Court on July 22 for a status hearing. Visiting Judge Dan B. Johnson presided over the proceedings.
"Ms. Iverson was recently appointed and she was able to speak with Scott Skenandore-Kieffer, so we are asking for a continuance," Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney Ty Albertson said.
Defense attorney Victoria Iverson told the court she was fine with moving the case out 30 days....
