Primary ballot certification Tuesday
DAVENPORT — With just nine ballots left to count, the Lincoln County Auditor’s office reports that any remaining votes are unlikely to affect the outcome of the Tuesday, Aug. 5, primary election.
“This next count will be next Monday afternoon, before we certify on Tuesday,” Lincoln County Elections Manager Norm Caley said.
As of the last update at 10:59 a.m. on Aug. 7, voter turnout stood at 24.01% with 2,102 ballots counted out of 8,756 registered voters across 46 precincts.
The next ballot count is scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, with certification set for Tuesday, Aug. 19.
