Someone evidently in need of an automobile tire, jacked up the wheel of Mrs. Helena Schmike’s car right in front of her home on Third St in Odessa and took a new casing, tube and rim.

A. L. Smalley, president of the First National Bank of Sprague, a pioneer and prominent citizen of Lincoln County for more than 35 years, was killed when his automobile was struck by a train.

F. B. Rennie, state highway patrolman was here Saturday looking over trucks in this section to see that they were not overloaded. Mr. Rennie made several arrests last week in Pend Orielle county for overloaded...
