Commissioners discuss broadband, roads

DAVENPORT - Broadband funding and infrastructure updates highlighted the Lincoln County commissioners' meeting on Monday, Aug. 18, as officials reviewed ongoing projects and county finances.

Treasury officials told commissioners there was a possibility federal funds could be pulled from broadband development, though the state broadband office assured the county that projects are moving forward.

"We are spending on all three of them, which is important," said Margie Hall, Lincoln County broadband office director.
