FORD - A local man accused of cutting timber without permission and possessing stolen firearms was returned to Lincoln County Superior Court Tuesday, Aug. 19.
Thomas Holt, 54, faces three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, one count of possession of a stolen firearm, and third-degree theft.
His public defender, Dave Hearrean, told the court Holt will return next Tuesday, Aug. 26, to change his plea.
Holt was arrested Monday, May 13, after deputies responded to a report of timber theft on Moore Road near Davenport, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
