Lincoln County primary certified

DAVENPORT — Lincoln County election officials have certified the results of Tuesday’s primary election, confirming winners across local races.

“The votes didn’t change since our last count yesterday [Monday, Aug. 18],” said Norm Caley, Lincoln County elections Manager.

Republican Ty Albertson leads the prosecuting attorney race with 96.76% of the vote. Voter turnout was 24.14%, with 2,114 ballots counted out of 8,756 registered voters.

In city races, Michael Strite won Davenport Councilman No. 1 with 55.06% of the vote, followed by Libbie Klettke at 33.33% and Daniel Coriell at 10.42%.
