A severe frost visited the Davenport area last night and the ground was white this morning and the thermometer registered a chilly 25 degrees.

An abandoned Buick sedan was found on the highway three miles from Almira. It was discovered that the car belonged to s Spokane man and had been reported stolen.

The first new Ford car was brought to Odessa on Sunday by L.A. Mills and is now on display at the Mills-Keller Motor company.
