Davenport shines at NE2B league cross-country meet

CHEWELAH — Runners delivered standout performances at the Northeast 2B league cross-country meets, with Davenport leading the charge in 49 Degrees North, hosted by Jenkins High School.

The boys varsity team secured third place with 72 points. Kyler Davenport led the Gorillas, placing 12th in the 5,000 meters (22:18.90), followed by Jackson Guhlke (19th, 23:21.90), Alex Wesselius (20th, 23:22.70), Solomon Holmberg (21st, 23:27.40), and Wayland Holmberg (25th, 24:03.50).
