Spooktacular fun haunts county

DAVENPORT — Halloween is just over a week away, and county streets are lined with spooky decorations while local stores are stocked with candy for eager trick-or-treaters. Families and youths across the region can look forward to a week of Halloween events.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will hold its own trunk-or-treat event on Wednesday, October 29, starting at 6 p.m.

The Harvest Celebration Church will host a “Trunk or Treat” party for trick-or-treaters on Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. The community is invited to decorate vehicles and participate.
