Two assault trials scheduled

DAVENPORT — Two Lincoln County assault cases are set for trial in early 2026 after defense attorneys requested continuances.

Kevin Raymond Duclos, 37, faces second-degree assault with a domestic violence allegation. His public defender, Dave Hearrean, asked to move the trial to late January, citing the case has never been continued. The trial is scheduled for Jan. 28, with a readiness hearing on Jan. 6.
