Towns Prepare for Festive Contests
ODESSA — For anyone who loves dazzling Christmas displays and a little holiday competition, several Lincoln County communities are gearing up for their annual lighting contests, each offering its own traditions, prizes, and hometown pride.
The Odessa Lions Club will judge its yearly Christmas lighting contest on Monday, Dec. 22, with increased cash prizes this season: $200 for first place, $150 for second, and $100 for third.
