Odessa case paused pending evaluation

DAVENPORT - Updated court proceedings in Lincoln County Superior Court on Tuesday, Jan. 6, resulted in a pause of the case pending further evaluation.

An Odessa man accused of pointing a gun at three people during an October 2025 dispute maintained his not guilty plea to three counts of second-degree assault.

Michael Frederick, 68, faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine for each count, in addition to restitution, court costs and assessments.
