Davenport handles Colfax in game for third place

SPOKANE VALLEY - In the first game of the final day of the District 6 2B Tournament, Davenport handled Colfax 59-32. Senior guard Glenna Soliday, the NE2B-North League MVP, led the Gorillas with 32 points.

"Glenna is one of the best players out there," Davenport Head Coach Dusty Oestreich said. "Not only did she find her way to the basket, but she facilitated, kept everything in motion for us, and she's probably the best defender on the court."

The first quarter started with a 7-2 run for Soliday. She was the only Gorilla to score during the first seven minutes.
