REARDAN - Easter may be a week away, but egg hunts begin this weekend in communities throughout the region.
Reardan is up first, with a 10 a.m. Easter egg hunt in City Park, 205 S. Oak St.
The hunt gets underway at 10 a.m. with children divided into separate age groups.
Ritzville also has an Easter egg hunt planned for Saturday. That event takes place at 9 a.m. in City Park on South Division Street. It's for children younger than 12.
Youngsters then have to wait a week for the next hunts.
